Description

Drop in to Cheltenham Children's Library where we will be celebrating the amazing word of record-breaking animals!  We will invite children to explore the fascinating feats of the animal kingdom and unleash their creativity through 'zine-making.

Learn about animals who hold remarkable records: the fastest, the slowest, the tallest, the smallest... Choose your favourites.  These fun facts will be sure to inspire!  Then, get hands-on as we guide you through the process of making your very own 'zine, combining art, science, and storytelling in a fun and unique format.

Ideal for children ages 5 and up.  This event is free.  Supplies will be provided and there is no need to book ahead.

Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We welcome you whatever your socio-economic background, ability, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation. If you have any access requirements or if you need further information about the event, please contact [email protected] ahead of the session.
