The Library Challenge

Description

Come along and join our children's book club this summer. Read some fantastic nature-themed books and discuss them with other reading fans. We'll be reading a different book each week and you can come to as many or as few sessions as you like.

Copies of all the books are being held at Cirencester Library, where you can pick them up to check out. We will be discussing the books on the day listed, so be sure to check the book out in plenty of time.

Recommended ages are listed for each book, but any child or teen able to read the book is welcome to come, whatever their age.

22 July: Twitch by M.G. Leonard (recommended for ages 9+)

29 July: Sky Dancer by Gill Lewis (recommended for ages 9+)

5 August: By Ash, Oak and Thorn by Melissa Harrison (recommended for ages 8+)

12 August: Lob by Linda Newberry (recommended for ages 7+)

19 August: Here in the Real World by Sara Pennypacker(recommended for ages 9+)

Free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book a space for the number of children wishing to attend.

If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation so that someone else can attend.

This event is part of The Library Challenge 2025. Click here to find out more about the ways we’re celebrating the Natural World this year and the fun challenges that you can complete.
