Description

What are fossils?  Where can you find them and how do you hunt them safely?

Meet a real geologist and learn about how these ancient records are formed, why they are important, and how to find them.  Enjoy a hands-on exploration of fossils, some unearthed right here in Gloucestershire.  If you have your own fossils, bring them in to find out more about them!

Perfect for ages 7-11.

Brought to you by the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens.  Fossil box from the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Earth Heritage Trust.

Booking is essential.  Tickets are free, and only needed for participating children.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.  If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation so that someone else may attend.
