Description

Join us for a family-friendly bat adventure at Wotton library!

- Why don’t bats crash in the dark?
- What language do they speak?
- And who weighs more — a bat or a hamster?

Come and discover the weird and wonderful world of bats in this interactive, hands-on session at the library with Gloucestershire Bat Group! You’ll learn about the bats that share our towns and gardens, find out how you can help them, and try out a real bat detector to hear their secret sounds.

Perfect for curious minds of all ages.

Free to attend. Children must be accompanied by an adult but please only book a space for the number of children wishing to attend. If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation so that someone else can attend.

Gloucestershire Libraries are committed to creating an inclusive community and are working towards a place where everyone feels welcome, safe and valued for who they are. Our events are for everyone: We welcome you whatever your socio-economic background, ability, gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, age, religious beliefs or sexual orientation.
